Modern Slavery Statement.
Last reviewed · May 2026
OG Group operates as a global jewelry house with offices in New York, Jaipur, Hong Kong, and Dubai. We are committed to operating our business and our supply chains in a manner that respects human rights and is free of modern slavery and human trafficking, in the spirit of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and similar legislation in jurisdictions where we operate.
Our practice
OG Group's responsible practice is anchored in two industry standards.
- Responsible Jewellery Council membership. Our materials practice is aligned with the RJC Code of Practices, including provisions on human rights, labor standards, and supply chain due diligence.
- Sedex alignment. Our workforce practice follows the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) framework on labor standards, health and safety, environment, and business ethics.
We treat these alignments as baselines, not as marketing claims.
Our workforce
Across our facilities we employ approximately 1,000 artisans and supporting staff. We provide fair compensation, lawful working hours, and safe working conditions. We do not use forced, bonded, or compulsory labor. We do not employ workers below the legal minimum age. We treat our workforce with the dignity that the craft of jewelry making deserves.
Our supply chain
Our supply chain includes precious metals, colored gemstones, diamonds, and finishing materials. We work with suppliers who meet our standards for responsible sourcing and worker welfare. We perform due diligence on supplier relationships and we expect our suppliers to meet equivalent standards in their own operations.
Training and oversight
Our leadership and supply chain teams receive training on responsible sourcing, worker welfare, and the recognition of risk indicators in supply chain operations. We review our practices on a continuing basis.
Reporting
Any person who suspects a violation of our standards may report it in confidence to info@orientalgemco.com with the subject line "Compliance Report". Reports are reviewed by senior leadership and investigated promptly.
